    Membership is open year round. You can pay $10/month or $99/year. Once accepted. You can sign up and join the University online to start your wellness & joy journey.

    Then you'll set up a profile and be able to dive right in to online courses, community boards, events and workshops. You can go back and watch any of our past sessions--on demand.

    One of the BEST perks of being a member of the University is the opportunity to travel with the Society, communue & learn new skills together. To immerse yourself in wellness and healing activities with my crew. Some experiences are exclusively for my House but at least one event/trip a year is open to everyone.

    HOLDING POWER

    This is five days in Costa Rica built around one question: what does it actually mean to hold power well? Intentionally? Rooted unapologetically in our lives as Queer & Trans Black folks. Leave with a clear vision of how you hold it — with steadiness, with curiosity, grace, kindness & joy.

    Through movement, play, adventure, and guided practice, you'll explore your relationship to power in a container designed for real discovery, not performance. Some of what surfaces will be about control. Some of it will be about surrender. Most of it will surprise you. This isn't a retreat about becoming someone else. It's five days of coming home to how you actually hold power — leaving with a clear path to its evolution.

    One we believe that is BEST DONE in COMMUNITY. The Black Queer Dom Society is my House. My Tribe. And my deepest community of practice. The largest Black, Queer, Trans & Nonbinary High Protocol House in the country. We are grateful for the Leather legacy that shapes us. And elders that guide us. And the ancestors that paved the way.

    We believe that all of us are evolving. Growing. Learning. And thus we will all disappointment and let each other down. This is how we approach things when there is a breakdown. When mistakes are made. It's hard to recover, heal. We know that this happens OFTEN. So we build in practices and processes to help us get better at navigating these HARD conversations. We invite you to join us in that practice.
